About Our Founder
Liliana Keith-Reid, our founder, was born on the Polynesian Island of Rotuma, in the South Pacific. Her family moved to Fiji when she was 7 years old, where she attended Catholic private schools at Stella Marist and Cathedral in Suva. Most of her childhood was spent in Fiji with her five siblings.
She moved to Melbourne, Australia where her first daughter, Meligrita, was born. She later returned to Fiji and joined Fiji Airways, where she held several positions in the Cabin Crew Department. She met her late husband, Robert Keith-Reid, a distinguished and prominent journalist. They had their second daughter, Kialiki.
Liliana was invited by Prime Minister Mahendra Chaudry to join the Fiji Labor Party as a local government politician. She won her seat comfortably as a Town Councilor. She also owned a real estate company, Prime Acres. Liliana was very active in the community and in business, and focused on children’s issues and education.
In 2009, Liliana immigrated to the United States and spent five years researching health care and care-giving. She served as Care Manager at Varenna Oakmont, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County’s most up-scale independent living facility. At the same time, with the help of her siblings, she managed to keep her promise to care for both her parents for 26 years, in her own home.
Growing up, Liliana was always surrounded by family. Her father, a teacher and environmentalist, taught her the value of a healthy organic diet. And, because of his oft-expressed belief that “it’s a sin” for a person to not use their God-given talents but create a massive impact in people’s lives with the gift of service for the community.
She currently lives in Santa Rosa, California.
